I have a lab based on Hyper-V but for mobile testing I would be able to run different configuration on my laptop. Virtual PC could be a solution but unfortunatly 64 bits guest OS is not possible.
The solution I choosed is a multiboot but test OS are stored in VHD.
This will work even your laptop is not Intel-VT or AMD-V

John Toner: Here's a video demonstration about using Hyper-V Live Migration in a SRDF/CE cluster, SRDF/CE is is EMC’s geographically dispersed clustering software. SRDF/CE is an EMC proprietary product that is used to integrate EMC’s SRDF technology with MSCS You might notice that we are not using CSVs in this demo as SRDF/CE does not currently support CSVs. I'll write more on that topic later on when I find the time.

Ok,

Today, again a got a SD card with a very specific Virus...
It's "normal" that when you buy a car you have by default a "state of the art" of safety measure/instrument included in your car...Even if few high tech safety stuff are still option's.
But YOUR CAR is really SECURE related to common technology BY DEFAULT.

Do you thing that this statement is true for the IT (understand your personal computer) I don't thing so.

So, how to get the same level for your IT? I will not extend but failing your IT security could cause serious damage, personal or institutional.

At the beginning of July virtualization.info reported how VMware, Cisco and EMC (the VCE triumvirate?) are working together to execute virtual machines live migrations across data centers that are 80 km (50 miles) away from each other.

Well, what was considered an impressive yet experimental configuration in July became an officially supported scenario in September.

The three companies discussed three different scenarios for long-distance VMotion at VMworld 2009 and announced the joint validation for one of them, where VMware supports a 200 km live migration (assuming you can satisfy some pretty demanding requirements):

The SonarCE application is a real sonar for Pocket PC devices. It uses the internal Pocket PC sound system to detect echo from different obstructions. It is quite precise around 5-10 cm at distance of 10 m. The up distance is only limited by the output power of the device and the speaker. This program can be use in air or in water but in water you need external microphone and speaker closed in water proof case.

Hello,

Did you notice than more an more people are asking more (sometime without ever searching) questions that providing/sharing answer ?

This is coming from young people (increasing their capacity ... so wait and see) but I'm most afraid when it's coming from "experts" that use the internet to sell their capacity.

And now some community website are selling "answer" ...

Les Offline Files de Windows quel super idée... si ça fonctionnait!

Essayer:

2 PC; 1 Vista , 1 XP

Le PC de bureau (XP) avec un folder en partage appeler "Photo". Le Vista (Vista)marque le share du PC en "available offline".

Vous avez donc tjr vos photos avec vous sur le Vista et heureux... Votre Vista connecter en online sur le Share vous faites une petite rotation de photo ....et "paf" la rotation sur le PC (XP) est ok et votre cache Vista est "corrupted" ... merci le Vista et ses capacités de tranfer au bit de différence ...

Apple s'attaque à RIM & Microsoft ! Destiné principalement au secteur du grand public, l'iPhone d'Apple n'a pas finit de faire parler de lui, la firme à la pomme envisageant à moyen terme de lui ajouter des fonctions destinées aux décideurs pressés.

Apple anticipe cette prochaine demande en recrutant actuellement un ingénieur « iPhone Windows Exchange/Outlook » chargé d'intégrer la division « équipe de qualité iPhone » pour tester justement la synchronisation des données via des serveurs Microsoft Exchange.
