Microsoft is watching you !

I recently (29/11) visited the « I know » event of Microsoft. I noticed that Microsoft place an RFID with a number on it so I’m not sure that it really anonymous on my access badge…

What’s an RFID, a little components that some device can sense presence and read data from it when at proximity (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RFID)

Ok, I understand that Microsoft can use this to better understand how to improve such seminar but :

  • Is this anonymous (what’s about my privacy, according last answer from MS : Yes)
  • Why do not mention that to the visitor ?
